We shall begin our notes with wonderful city - Pereslavl. Actually, this time we plan to visit three cities: Pereslavl, then Rostov, and finaly Yaroslavl. But we couldn’t imagine the full scale of cultural and architectural heritage of Perealavl...
The weather seemed to have no luck from the start, the rain accompanied us from the Perematkino (it is a village in Vladimirskaya Oblast that entertains everyone by it’s name, where we decided to spend the night in order to save our morning time for journey), but we did not upset it, because we know how to disperse clouds with help of our positive:) Checked! Every time we get to the next point of our cultural voyage, we were met by a friendly sun and warm weather until we walk :)
Miracles began exactly with the beginning of the trip: good people tell us the new highway to Yaroslavl, before reaching which we were surprised: "Europe!". The road is flat and wide, with the new bump stops on both sides of the beautiful green with the sun touched golden islands forest.
On the approaches to Pereslavl, as expected, villages. Shutters and frontons of modest houses are decorated with lace thread (another brilliant comparison is not found). At one house - the dragon.
In many huts in the ornament decoration is inscribed the name of the owner that is not so common.. Shutters and frontons of the modest houses were covered with lace carved decoration. At one house - the dragon that is not typical. In many houses in the ornament decoration is inscribed the name of the owner that is not so common.
Directly near the city is invariable symbol of the Soviet era: an energetic and monumental the hammer and sickle.
Just passed it - the expected miracle happened: the sun jumped out and let us joyfully shows us local attractions. Excellent mood:))
At this time we drove unprepared, we mean that all the places we were looking for we found with the help of good people and good Internet. Turning to the Boat of Peter (more on that later) and passed the XIV century Monastery, we come to the Museum of Kettles. To be honest, we don’t expect much from this museum. But here we were impressed right from the doorstep. No, not from the doorstep. We were impressed right from the road.
Our designer eye screamed and was glad at the same time.
By the way, the museum of money situated exactly opposite, did not have any success: people apparently overeat impressions here could not go to see money.
Cheerful labels, coupled with cheerful colors, ornaments, which were on the walls, fences, benches and even on the roof of the museum, promised SOMETHING.
After playing enough with all kinds of utensils in the yard, which we must say, lay just everywhere we graced the museum.
At the entrance there was the oven not so large not so small.
There were not so many people in here and everybody was puzzled and laughed.
The reason was young girl - guide which was so inspired telling true and false stories about showpieces.
We were pleased that we can take pictures of everything and touch all by hands.
The style and manner of her story is particularly noteworthy: she did not say at once what the things we hold in our hands. She asked questions, telling different assumptions of other museum visitors, tales, legends and jokes. Of course in the end she gave the information about the real purpose of the subject.

A breakdown of old and new things was set up in the hall and, honestly, we did not expect more. But we were strongly advise to go inside and listen to the tour.

Aha! Exactly that multifunctional oven. |

This is not a broken lamp shade. This is a flycatcher. |
There is the oven fork for extra heavy iron pots. |
And this is one more thing with clear functional. |
This is the cockroach’s God. It’s a joke. This is device for messy with dirty shoes, to avoid to touch their hands or touch with each other. You should rests against the heel of the cockroach’s horns. Then stepping on a cockroach’s back and take off a shoe. |
This is a device for closing the half-full bottles. We thought it was a puzzle. |
There was different assumptions about this device: a place for the cat, who made their dirty deeds not in a right place, the place for planting tomatoes and something else. In fact it is an old lighting with kindling. |
It is said that in the Belgorod region this thing called a “trempel” The rest of the country calls it a hanger or shoulders. |
The feature of this device is that it can be folded, it was designed for travel. |
| One more original solution. |
This is an iron punch. Well, the same star! It is clearly designed for the Red Army:) |
Whether it is a grater, or a cleaning for footwear. Don’t remember. |
The most amusing suggestion for this thing that this is a device for receiving the salary from husband: 5 holes 5 fingers - press and ready. |
And this is a good place to store salary. Honestly, honestly! All of our parents did it in this way. Money is not in a bank. Money is in a book. |
And this device is useful the electricity is cut off. Our brothers-designers will use it. This is a manually drill. |
And this is our favorite. This is device for lifting cans from some inconvenient place. Elementary mechanics in couple with the same basic physics - the beauty in a simplicity. |
We even were able to meditate. This is “relax” in a silver design. This is a cutlery holder. |
| Even the things that are today in use surprised us - the bits. |
Overflowed with the impressions and being unable to understand anything else we promise that we will write about the museum and publish our photos we left this wonderful (some silly word) place and went to the local attraction - Botik of Peter , which we were strongly recommended to visit by all the sites and markers.
The Botik, mildly speaking, was not impressed. Not at all. Yes, seeing preserved part of amusing army of Peter the Great, mentally try come back into an era when for the whim of the monarch created such serious "toys". But where was nothing except it to look at in the museum. Also the guide’s monotonous speech made us falling in sleep.

This sort of things don’t cares us, squirrels, for a long time. After minute or two we already rush to look for new impressions.
Perfect was found immediately: the museum is located on the shore of Pleshcheevo Lake with all attributes: nature that captures the spirit of, the blue crazy sky, the lake "as it should, to the horizon" and the incredible, sparkling, blindingly white shining light that streams through the clouds (but that's just for us :)).
Photography, as usual, does not transmit ... It tries, but it can’t.
People with kites, boats picturesquely situated in the reeds, the wind blowing over the collar... What are we about ... Ah! Freedom! Air! Fabulous ... and otherworldly somehow ..
But we flew a little... Getting back:)
Finally we decided to go in the center of Pereslavl to have some food. Aha!
So... Pereslavl......
There is one inconvenience in our adventures: we travel on weekends, when the city full of with brigegrooms, brides and their guests. That in turn means that all a little bit decent cafes and restaurants are closed for weddings.
Therefore, we usually eat in colorful small "pancake cafe". It's not as bad as it sounds. This is a separate point of our memories.
For example, in Pereslavl, we found a place that claims to be a pizzeria. Prices at first glance were not so high but in the check somehow we get quite high amount. But it is’t the point...
About the interior design of the cafe, the same as about the gastronomic delights of local chefs we should write separately. We remember something else: there were a group of four inflated ladies, all about forty, who actively discussed the pros and cons of possible design education of the daughter of one of those ladies. Pleased that they did not just agree with each other about need of studying, and about the fact that every a little bit able to hold a pencil in hand can be a designer. They were arguing! Reasoned! Although they were slightly higher exceed the decibel rate, due to considerable amount of alcohol.
Without stopping for a long time we headed to the next step of our journey - the Museum of Irons. It seems that this museum was Organized by the same merry guys that were the authors of the Museum of Kettles.

The outside view of the building, maintenance, and even the style of the museum tour guides promised us something more serious than the Museum of Kettles. Only the fence looked funny.
Of course, even there there was something to look at but the Kettles occupied a special place in our hearts forever.
Our way to Moscow, similarly, was full of surprises: for example, we have discovered already closed that day Museum of Fairy Tales.
Through the fence we were able to see the stylized structure and concluded that it is something like “Russian Disneyland."
We promise to come back and tell you in detail what and how.
Eventually, we have not got to Yaroslavl yet...
